Halloween Carols (Scare-alls)

Halloween (tune of Jingle Bells)

Halloween, Halloween, Halloween all day.
O what fun it is to say "Trick or Treat" today.
"Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat" all night.
Eating lots of candy, then our teeth rot, we can't bite.

Dashing through the leaves
In a one-eyed monster suit
To the porch we go

Stashing lots of loot.

Bells on porches ring.
Folks turn on their lights
Dropping sugar, fat, and lard
Into our sacks all night.

Oh, toothless grin, toothless grin, gumming all my food
I hope my dentures get here soon and they're not made of wood.
Wooden grin, wooden grin, splinters in my tongue.
Halloween comes once a year, and it's a lot of fun.

Celebrating Halloween (tune of Celebrating a Birthday, Waldorf school tradition)

We're celebrating Halloween today, today
We're celebrating Halloween, we'll all be scary and gray.
Phantoms and ghost wishes, pumpkins on your dishes
That is why we're scary and gray, scary and gray to day.
