As it was Hallowe'en and the laser pointer broke, we broke out the brooms to point with.

We worked on the pond, building up the waterfall with rocks.

Here's the biofilter/waterfall.

Our other project was installing a 10 foot gutter to capture rainwater for a pair of rainbarrels.

After some mistakes, we finally achieved a slope in the right direction.

And the rainwater flows down...

And into the barrels.

Note these homemade barrels, which cost $0, as they were old detergent barrels. A few $ of fixtures and hose, and they're good to go.
